Can I purchase my own GPS device and have Black Ice monitor it for me?

Although many online retailers sell GPS tracking devices that are similar to the Black Ice Security tracking device they do not include live monitoring in there package. While active on a case Black Ice not only provide the client with the reports after the fact but watch the device in real time looking for opportunities to conduct surveillance and coordinate with investigators in the field.  Black Ice security also includes in the price of GPS tracking the emplacement and upkeep of the device on the target car.

Although you may use your own device, Black Ice will not be able to testify that the device was correctly installed or that it was emplaced on the correct vehicle. Black Ice will not monitor devices it has not emplaced for legal reasons. Any device emplaced by a cleint or private party would have to be monitored by the cleint and the Investigator informed of the action takeing place . This can often be time consuming and difficult to coordinate.
