What Information do you need before you place a GPS device on a car?
Black Ice will need the following information:
Vehicle Make and Model:
This helps us in determining placement if it is a difficult model of car. Our Investigations and GPS technicians will often make a “dry run” on a car of the same model to test our placement.
Vehicle Tag number or VIN Number:
This is important to verify we have the correct car, there are often many of the same make and model vehicles in some neighborhoods
Vehicle placement:
It is important that we know where the vehicle is located so we can plan the approach, and time of placement.
Subjects normal pattern:
When is the subject usually home, time the subject leaves in the morning and returns at night. What time the subject is asleep and the patterns of the neighborhood are also important.
